Dr. Promise Ovai Kenneth-Odum, Founder and CEO of Rukkies House Group, has become the first Nigerian and African to be officially certified as a Certified Floral Designer (CFD®️) by the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD®️) — a prestigious international body known for upholding excellence in floral artistry. Her name now appears in the AIFD’s official online directory, solidifying her status as a globally recognized design professional.
This historic milestone follows her successful completion of the Professional Floral Design Evaluation (PFDE) after intensive training in Shanghai, China. The certification is not just a personal achievement but a powerful symbol of possibility for African creatives, especially women in design-led industries.
Dr. Promise is also the visionary behind RAFAD – Rukkies Academy for Floral Artistry and Design, which has trained hundreds of designers across West Africa.
